One of our Core Values at DMG Financial is to support our local communities through our actions and involvement. We are passionate about supporting local clubs and organisations and take pride in the help we can provide. On top of sponsorship, we hold a casual day on the last Friday of each month, team members make a donation which then goes to the monthly charity of choice. We also supply drinks and snacks in the office which team members are able to purchase with those proceeds also going to charity. This is all part of our “Giving Back” concept.

DMG Financial joins forces with UnitingCare Gippsland and Toy World Sale to help support the Wellington Christmas Appeal. Each year in Gippsland hundreds of children from disadvantaged families go without a gift to open on Christmas day, and organisations such as UnitingCare Gippsland have been working hard all year to make a difference. To date, DMG have donated Christmas gifts for over 500 children and look forward to keeping up this tradition.

Each year DMG Financial participates in the  RSPCA Cupcake Day, helping to raise $250,000 to support the RSPCA adoption centres, shelters, education and Inspectorate teams.

Staff members donate their time and bake delicious homemade cupcakes for the DMG team with a gold coin donation for each cupcake consumed.  This is all donated to the RSPCA to help animals in need. It’s the sweetest day of the year!

DMG are delighted to be the major sponsor of the annual DMG Men’s Classic Pairs event held by the Sale Bowls club each year. Competitors travel from across the state to compete in this competition so the event is extremely popular and great for the local community.

The Elms Spring Racing Classic & Grand Prix held by the Sale & District Showjumping Club, is part of Australia’s biggest showjumping circuit and DMG Financial are proud to sponsor the event each year. With winners of the event having represented Australia at the Olympic Games, it’s always sure to draw a national crowd.

This organisation helps foster children and their carers in an attempt to provide a normal and enjoyable life for the children. This includes providing furniture, cots & toys for the children as well as holding regular events for fundraising.

The Kate Buntine Children’s Trust is a Government recognised Children’s Charitable Trust based in Central and East Gippsland Victoria, Australia. The Trust owns assets such as medical equipment on behalf of the local community for the long term use by the children of the local community with chronic illness or disability.

Hence local individuals, businesses and community organisations such as DMG Financial direct local funds though the Kate Buntine Children’s Trust for the children of the region.

Arising from the 1977/78 bushfires in the Gippsland area was the need to provide emergency assistance to Gippsland people. Since then the Fund has provided millions of dollars in assistance and expanded its role to cover bushfires, floods and storms in Gippsland.

The Fund provides relief and assistance to persons residing in the Gippsland municipalities of Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Latrobe, Baw Baw, Wellington and East Gippsland who suffer injury, loss or damage from natural disasters.

DMG Financial supports this fund after numerous natural disasters have occurred in the region.

DMG Financial, together with other community minded businesses, is supporting Peter Stoitse Transport in providing a Community Bus to service community organisations in Toora and Welshpool and surrounding areas.

The bus is used for non-profit community groups such as sports clubs, schools and other organisations to transport them to events such as games, excursions, camps etc.

The Footprints Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that provide a support mechanism for local women and their families within the Sale and District area currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

The goal of the Footprints Foundation is to support families through this difficult time by engaging the local community, and letting them know that they are not alone and that people care about their welfare.

DMG Financial have been heavily involved in the creation of this foundation and supply  consistent support.
